Episode 11 – How entrepreneurs should be thinking about global change, trade, and tensions – with Bongivangeli Buthelezi

Entrepreneurs have to constantly assess the changes around them and determine the most appropriate strategy to follow. On Tuesday, 3 November 2020, the United States held their elections where nationalism went head to head with multilateralism.

In this episode, we talk about global trends that have created uncertainty and perhaps some anxiety for entrepreneurs and businesspeople around the world. We talk to Bongivangeli Buthelezi, a political and economic commentator, on global trade, multilateral institutions, recent events around the world involving China, the United States, Russia, and other countries and their implications on entrepreneurship and innovation. We also talk about changes brought about by Covid-19, technology shifts, and climate change and what they mean for entrepreneurs.
